When you become a parent, it becomes harder to give yourself time to do anything for yourself. I get that. I have been there (and am still there). But as my adventure through the parenting world continues, I have realised just how important it really is to give yourself the time and how in fact it is important for your children's sake too.

How can you be the best you can be, when you are completely ran ragged, burnt out and feeling mentally low. How can you parent when you yourself can't look after you. I don't mind to sound critical, this is far from a critizicm. It's HARD to fit in self -care and all those new buzz words. But it can be a simple thing to achieve. It doesn't have to be a spa day once a month, it can simply be, putting the children in front of the TV for 20 minutes so you can take a breath and enjoy a hot cup of tea.

And if you do have longer than 5 minutes... say 10 perhaps... maybe even write some of these articles below. You never know, they might even help!
